Rules of the game
How is Lotto Max played?
Lotto Max is a Canada-wide lottery drawn every Tuesday and Friday. Since 14 April 2026, 7 numbers are drawn from 52 (2019–2026: 7 from 50, before that 7 from 49), plus a bonus number from the remaining balls. One $6 play includes four lines; statistics start with the new format. Data: BCLC.
How does the Bonus number work?
The Bonus number is drawn after the winning numbers from the remaining balls; it counts if it is among your own numbers.
